What is Manual Therapy ?
Manual therapy is a term that is used interchangeably with massage therapy. The difference between the two is usually perspective and intention. Manual Therapy is therapeutic in nature, and can be used for preventative care or rehabilitation. This differs from the general term massage, which is often associated with being a luxury spa-like service that is relaxing—but also optional. Kimberly has found that the best results in decreasing her client’s pain and stress, while helping their body recover, has come from the use of both relaxing and therapeutic techniques. This balance helps to maintain the health and wellness of the body, which should always be a priority.
